I don't think it's a big secret that I love Easter Peeps. They can be pink or yellow (preferably yellow) and they can be either the chicks or the bunnies. But, I'm sorry folks, they can't be purple, blue, green or orange and they certainly CAN NOT be turkeys, Santa Clauses, hearts or clovers. That's just satan's work! Nope, Easter Peeps can only be eaten at Easter and only in the aforementioned colors and shapes. My favorite way to eat them is stale. I open the package, stick it in the fridge and let them chill for a day or two. Then eat them. They're kinda crunchy but not really. I don't know how I learned to eat them like this or why, it's just how it's done at my house. That being said, I found this adorable Easter Peep fabric last weekend and I HAD to make something with it. So I made pillowcases. If you've ever wanted to learn to make a pillowcase, here's a video. If you've just need to confirm to yourself that you're not as weird as other people out there, here's a video. Or if you just need a good laugh to go with your cocktail, here's a video.
And because I was feeling all Peep'ish, I had to make a card to go with my pillowcases. This card was made with the extra large oval punch, the wing is from the bird punch and the color is Daffodil Delight. I drew in the legs & eyes and just snipped a little beak out of Tangerine Tango cardstock.

LOVE IT !!!!! if it weren't 10:23 pm right now I would go to Hobby Lobby to go buy material. Oh and Good Job Noelle your mom should pay you the big $$$$$$ bucks.
Love you both,
your sissy Lisa

I LOVE Peeps! And I agree that pink and yellow are good--preferrably yellow--but NOT all those other colors!!! And I agree, stale is best!!! Although I will eat them any way I can get them. Your card is adorable and so is the cute pillow case.
